Under the strategic plan to “eliminate barriers to help families and communities thrive” CHN Housing Partners recognized Salesforce’s potential to streamline how clients find, apply for and receive affordable housing assistance, as well as improve oversight of service delivery through CHN or network partners. Salesforce had been in use for a number of years and needed refreshing to be inline with the new strategic plan for program delivery and accessibility.

Solution: Salesforce Overhaul

North Peak was engaged to overhaul CHN’s Salesforce around a couple critical themes, namely (1) increasing access to affordable housing and homeownership and (2) building organizational resilience. Working with CHN staff, North Peak designed a new model for CHN’s Salesforce that supports a Universal Intake process that includes an improved online interface for determining eligibility and applying for specific programs. The new system streamlines how potential clients in CHN’s communities learn about and apply for assistance. As well, internal to CHN and its network of service delivery partners, the system allows for better coordination through all stages of the process from intake to application to service delivery to the tracking of outcomes and impacts.
